BIG BEARD - organic fuzz/overdrive with amazing touch sensitivity. capable of a wide range of tones from a light crunch to classic rock overdrive.  the basic model features a simple range of controls (gain, tone and volume).  the 'tone' and 'gain' controls are interactive and can give  in-between).  at the heart of this pedal is a rich midrange that 'feels' very natural amp 'amp like' in nature and equally at home with both single coil and humbucker guitars.  all pedals feature the highest quality components that are selected for optimal tone.  all pedals are handmade in the UK.  PRICE... £125

TREBLE TWISTER - our take on the classic Rangemaster effect with some improvements for increased versatility. as with all our pedals, each unit is 'tuned' to ensure the tone is 'special' (rather than the bland tone you get with many 'off-the-shelf' units).  At present we are able to offer this unit with old-stock germanium transistors for 'that' classic tone.  PRICE... £99

MOSBOOST - 'booster' pedal to deliver that kick in the pants that valve amps often require for serious overdrive. PRICE... £99

BIGGER BEARD - similar core tone to the Big Beard but much more gain available.  a wide range of tones are available via the gain, bass, treble and volume controls.  PRICE... £125 (not yet available, decided this needs more tweaking)

RAT mod - there are many RAT mods out there, everyone pinching bits of other people's mods, but that's not the way we do things here.  We went back to the original RAT schematic and tweaked the pedal till it was sounding great on all distortion settings while retaining the core RAT tone.  PRICE... £95 (for pre-modded pedal, £35 to mod your existing pedal)

SD-1 mod - once again, you could go on all week listing the various SD-1 mods out there, and they're all variations on the same thing.  We went back to the original SD-1 schematic and used my Japanese 'black-label' SD-1 as a tone reference.  We got rid of the bass dropout, altered the range of overdrive to get less gain at minimum settings and more overdrive at maximum settings.  The overall distortion character is much smoother and fuller than a stock SD-1 with great harmonics.  The bypass can also be improved upon request, but some customers have found they like the bleed-thru of the original bypass - you choose.  There are a number of variations on our SD-1 mod depending on what you want from the pedal - drop us an email with your set-up and what tone you want to achieve.  PRICE... £80 (for pre-modded SD-1, £35 to mod your existing pedal)

DS-1 mod - not quite as many DS-1 mods out there, but there are a few - we tried them out of curiousity and found the stock pedal to sound better.  Once again we went back to the original DS-1 schematic and looked at the weak spots in the pedal's design (as we always do).  We added more bass, much more midrange, more gain just before the point where it gets mushy, tightened up the bass response for those palm muted riffs and generally voiced the pedal for that big, fat tone that typifies our mods.  PRICE... £80 (for pre-modded SD-1, £35 to mod your existing pedal)

SD-1 to OD-1 specs mod - a customer of our's wanted a backup for his vintage OD-1 and asked if it was possible to mod an SD-1 to sound the same.  As it happens this was possible with a bit of work - and now we are able to offer this mod as part of our catalogue.  As the OD-1 had no tone knob, the tone knob on your modded SD-1 will not be connected in order to get the most accurate OD-1 tone.  PRICE... £99 (for pre-modded SD-1 to OD-1 specs, £45 to mod your existing pedal)

Fuzz Face mod - probably the most copied and modded pedal of all time, but there is plenty of mileage with this classic design and we couldn't resist our own take on this baby.  There are almost endless possibilities with this pedal from a simple transistor upgrade with the correct biasing, to revoicing the pedal to get a more focussed attack and more of an 'overdrive' kind of tone.  PRICE... £ASK (existing pedals only at present)
